MANILA, Philippines - Talentadong Pinoy (TP) Hall of Famer Wanlu (Juancho Lunaria in real life) challenged Filipinos in Hong Kong when he and the TP staff and crew performed recently in the former Crown Colony.
Wanlu formed part of a small group of artists that participated in a TP showcase hosted by Ryan Agoncillo and which also featured Bayani Agbayani and Tuesday Vargas.
“I reminded our kababayan in Hong Kong that Filipino talent is world-class and that we can draw inspiration from the skills and success of others,” he says.
Aside from regular shows on TV5 and UNTV and a few guestings on GMA 7, Wanlu is looking forward to attend an international ventriloquists convention on July 14 to 18 in Kentucky, USA.
The comedian-host says he’s excited to meet the likes of Terry Fator and Jeff Dunham, as well as legendary ventriloquists Jimmy Nelson and Bill DeMar, in the convention.
Wanlu was recently presented the Asian Entertainer Award and Albani Peace Prize as Asia’s Outstanding Ventriloquist.
