Pinoy jins win 15 medals in international taekwondo fest

MANILA, Philippines – Members of the Baguio-based Taekwondo Philippine Team bagged a total of 15 medals in the International Taekwondo Festival 2011 in Los Angeles, California.
Among members of the team are young taekwondo jins Angel Louise Dy and Austine Dy.
The two paired to win first place in the sportsfest’s poomsae event.
Angel also won gold while Austine scored silver in the sparring division.
The taekwondo festival took place on May 21.
The team is due to arrive in Manila on Monday (May 30).
